If you are looking to indulge in an evening that tantalises your senses, Marriott has partnered with Bakery Hill to embark on a journey through the intricate flavours and inviting warmth of whisky. Nestled within the vaulted ceiling of Archer’s, an exclusive event awaits, curated to ignite your taste buds. Executive Chef Ryan Flaherty has crafted a menu that is perfectly paired with four distinct and captivating Australian whisky expressions. The event will be held on May 20, and is sure to sell out. What better way to welcome the cooler months than a toast to whisky?

4-courses of Bakery Hill paired food

The culinary adventure commences with the first course, a tantalising Grilled Banana Bread delicately adorned with fluffy crème fraiche. As you savour this fragrant creation, a whisky sour will harmonise with the flavours, creating a symphony on your palate. The journey continues with the second course, featuring a delectable chicken liver parfait accompanied by candied beetroot and hints of cocoa. The richness and warmth of these flavours beautifully intertwine with the elevated Bakery Hill Classic Malt, offering a sensory experience unlike any other.

Prepare your taste buds for the mains—an exquisite Koji Marinated Beef Short Rib, accompanied by a velvety marrow jus, celeriac, and king brown mushrooms. This culinary masterpiece is expertly paired with the Bakery Hill Peated Malt, boasting notes of tobacco leaf, earthiness, and lingering smoky peat that dances on your lips.

For the grand finale, both sweet and savoury enthusiasts will revel in the Sticky Medjool Date Pudding, served with luscious Double Cream and drizzled with the heavenly Bakery Hill Caramel Sauce. This exquisite dessert finds its perfect companion in the Bakery Hill Double Wood, a whisky with a subtle yet captivating character, with hints of orange marmalade that enchant your taste buds.
