It can sometimes feel like a minefield to find the right gift for a child. Most parents have access to all kinds of online stores and immediate delivery, so it is fair to say they have the bulk of what they need and want. This is why a personalised book by Wonderbly Books is a fantastic gift idea. We have been fortunate enough to receive three personalise books, so here is our Wonderbly review with pictures, prices and ideas for little gift recipients.

Wonderbly books for every occasion

In our collection, we have a few occasion Wonderbly books. There is a Christmas children’s book, and a Mother’s Day children’s book and they make for the perfect read that time of the year. It’s also a nice keepsake for the whole family, with Wonderblys signature customisation meaning that my son’s name is found on all the pages. They also have unique titles, like ‘Reuben’s First Christmas’ and ‘Thank You, Mama’, which make them even more special.

Some of the other occasions you can check out for personalised books are:

  • Personalised graduation book
  • Personalised Father’s Day book
  • Personalised books for a new baby
  • Personalised birthday book
  • Personalised anniversary book
  • Personalised wedding book
  • Personalised engagement books
  • Personalised christening book

Full and inclusive customised books

It’s the customisation that we love the most about Wonderbly Australia. You can choose the skin tone of the child or parent, the number of children appearing in the book, the age and gender of the children and fine details like hair colour. This makes the books an ideal choice for anyone and takes personalised books to the next level. My son has blonde hair, despite my husband and I had dark brown hair, so we can immediately identify our little family on the front cover when our Wonderbly books arrive.

Gifting a Wonderbly personalised book

The Wonderbly books arrive in a very cute packaging of polka dot card shaped in a book sheath. This makes it easy to just place it in a gift bag, wrap it with paper or hand it over as is. This packaging is gender neutral and ideal for any occasion.

After receiving a couple of these personalised books for kids, I wanted to gift them to my nieces and loved ones. Placing an order was very easy and quite fun, as you can see the book design come together in real-time as you enter the personalised details. You also have the choice of choosing a hardcover book or a soft-covered book. We were very surprised to see that the soft cover Wonderbly books are very high quality, as we have got some flimsy soft cover books in our collection. The special, sentimental ones are hardcover, and we have a soft cover collection of educational books.

Wonderbly Australia resources

If you are still on the fence about which personalised kids’ book to choose, Wonderbly also has some fun activities and printables available on the website. This will give you an idea of Wonderbly Australia, and you can test those activities with your little ones before you order a personalised book. There are more than 10 cards, colouring-in pages and activities sheets to choose from, but our favourites are the personalised birthday card downloadable, the printable colouring pages and the alphabet activity sheet! These are great free resources that are totally customisable and provide hours of fun.
